Terms and Conditions for Product Shipping and Returns
The customer must select the shipping method in the corresponding section within the order finalization process, in the shopping cart, from the different options offered.
Delivery Times:
Immediate Delivery Products:
Certain products are marked for immediate delivery, barring stock breakage, both in stores and on the website. These products are available in our stores' warehouses, and the delivery time depends only on the availability of our transport and assembly services, which is usually between 48 and 72 hours.
Express Delivery Products:
Certain products are marked for express delivery, both in stores and on the website. These products, barring stock breakage, are available in the factory warehouses, and the delivery time depends on the final destination and is usually between 15 and 25 business days.
Products on Display for Order:
The remaining products, displayed in the store or on the website, are available for order, and their delivery time is between 35 and 45 business days.
Shipping Methods:
Collection at our Stores or Warehouses.
The customer selects this option when they have their own means to collect the product themselves from one of our stores or warehouses. This option has no shipping costs.
Transport Service Offered by Us.
We have several transport options, depending on the product's destination:
Island of Mallorca: We have our own transport means, with personnel specialized in the assembly of furniture and upholstery. This option has a cost of €40 for orders that do not reach €600. If the order exceeds €600, the shipping and assembly costs are €30.
Rest of the Balearic Islands (Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera): In each case, a transport option with a variable cost will be offered depending on the volume of the order. For the islands of Menorca and Ibiza, you will have two options: shipping only or shipping and assembly. For the island of Formentera, we only have the shipping-only option, without assembly.
Shipments to the Peninsula: We have a transport service (shipping only) or transport with assembly for any province on the peninsula. In this case, shipments will be direct from the factory; the product does not pass through the islands. Shipping or shipping-and-assembly costs are calculated in the shopping cart based on the volume and destination, offering the different options when formalizing the order.
We do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla.
Product Return Policy:
The Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users guarantees the right to return a product by the user or consumer without any incident.
The product must be returned in its original packaging, sealed, and in perfect condition. Mil y un sofá will under no circumstances proceed with the return of products that have already been assembled or used by the customer. This exception to the Right of Withdrawal is protected by Law.
The established period for exercising the Right of Withdrawal is 14 calendar days from the delivery of the merchandise; no returns will be accepted outside this period.
Returns must be processed via the email comercial@milyunsofa.com. For faster processing of your return, you must indicate the order number and/or invoice number, as well as the reason for the return.
Once this message is received, we will proceed immediately to process the return. We commit to refunding the price of the product, provided that the return conditions set out in this point are met. The shipping costs for the round trip of the product will be borne by the buyer.
If the cancellation (or modification) of the order occurs within 24 calendar hours of placing the order, the customer will not incur any shipping or return costs. If the cancellation of the order occurs after 24 calendar hours of placing the order, 20% of the total order will be deducted from the refund, in concept of management and warehouse handling. The cancellation of the order, in any case, must be done via an email to comercial@milyunsofa.com, thus providing proof of the day and time of said cancellation request. This email must be sent from the same email address used by the customer to place the order, and the order reference/number and reason for cancellation must be indicated.
If the reason for the return is that the item is defective or does not correspond to what was requested in the order, and the customer can correctly demonstrate this, Mil y un sofá will cover the return and new shipping costs.
Mil y un sofá will only contact its regular transport agency to proceed with the collection of returns made due to a defective (not damaged) item or if it does not correspond to the one requested, obliging the customer to facilitate the collection of the product on the date and times previously agreed upon. In these cases, Mil y un sofá will request photographs from the customer of the package or packages that the transport agency will collect (in its original condition and packaging).
REJECTING MERCHANDISE: In case of rejecting the delivery of the merchandise and requesting a refund, in addition to the shipping and return costs indicated in previous points, 30% of the total order will be deducted for warehouse handling and management costs.
Remember once again that for the merchandise to be returned, it must be in its original condition and packaging, unassembled, and with all its accessories. If the merchandise sent by the customer does not arrive in good condition, it will be rejected, and no refund will be issued. To avoid any inconvenience if this happens (that the merchandise arrives damaged at our warehouses), we recommend taking out shipping insurance (all transport agencies offer this service).
As soon as the merchandise arrives at our warehouses and it is verified that the requirements indicated above for processing a return are correct, the refund will be processed, deducting the outbound shipping costs, which should be approximately 10% of the total order price.
REMEMBER: If the product is poorly packaged, with a broken box, with excessive tape blobs that damage the product, incomplete, etc., Mil y un sofá will not pay the value of the product to the customer, giving the possibility of either picking it up at our warehouses or having the agency hired by the customer return it (depending on the situation).
IMPORTANT: According to the Law on the Right of Withdrawal, returns of assembled, used, or items that do not have their original condition and packaging will not be accepted. Likewise, those items that can be personalized or configured (individually or jointly) to the final customer's taste—such as wood finishes, upholstery color, or any other type of configuration—as well as products of special measurements or different from those considered standard.
For hygiene reasons (regardless of the reason), rest items, pillows, cushions, protectors, mattresses, and pillowcases will not be accepted for exchange or return once removed from their original packaging (Art 103.e RDLGDCU 1/2007).
The minimum age for purchasing on milyunsofa.com is 18 years old. If you are younger, you must leave the website or ask someone older to make the purchase for you.
We reserve the right to cancel a purchase when it has occurred due to an obvious informational or typographical error, which will be notified to the user as soon as possible, canceling any charge that may have occurred.
